Emilio Merone is a Pianist extraordinaire holding a Certified Master’s Degree in Classical Piano and 2 Certificates in Jazz Piano

He has worked around the world with many great musicians including: Antonio Sanchez, Scott Colley, Jaques Morelenbaum, Marcelo Costa, Bruno Tommaso, Aida Cooper, Fabrizio Cardosa, Eddy Palermo, and Kate Robbins.

His performance on more than 20 albums - the majority of them as a session pianist, have been recorded at a number of high-end studios including: Abbey Road Studios in London; System Two in Brooklyn, and Drum in Rio de Janeiro.

Emilio is one of our Composers and we are excited to have a collection of his upbeat ragtime pieces as well as some beautiful cinematic compositions on the Presana Production Music Library too: available to stream on the Playlist below

He has written a piano theory book called ‘Piani Incrociati’ and contributed to Michel Petrucciani’s 'Omnibook', published internationally by Carish.   

In addition to being deeply embedded in the European Classical and Jazz scene, he is also a founder member of World Lounge Music project Sanghamitra which you can check out via the Youtube video below.
